There’s a few things we want to check. How quickly are you losing air and what is the temperature change? The tubes will expand and contract with temperature fluctuations. If it’s happening inside of a few days and the temps aren’t changing drastically, there’s a problem and we’ll help you fix it.
First, make sure valve covers are closed and there’s nothing in the way (like the string or any dirt or debris). If so, is the spring mechanism in the center of the valve locked in the upright position? They can sometimes get twisted and stuck down, which allows air to escape.
If it’s neither of these, you’ll have to pull out the tube and look for punctures. Using soapy water is helpful with this because it will bubble up when air escapes. If you find a hole, instructions on how to patch can be found here.
If you don’t find a hole, check around the edge of the pressure release valve (the dark gray one). If this bubbles, you’ll need to tighten it. We can provide a wrench for you if you didn’t receive one with your kit.
If none of these work, please contact us at [email protected] or call 833-475-4787 to get a warranty replacement.
